Celebrate the Good Life at the 2017 Gage County Fair!Featured

Giddy Up Pony Races

Calling all little cowboys and cowgirls!  Strap on your spurs and hop in the saddle, the race is on!  Meet us at the Main Livestock Barn, Sunday July 29th to register for the race by 11:30 am.  You can pick your giddy-up horse and ride to the finish for prizes and fun.  Race starts at high noon (12:00pm).

Power Up Kids!

Gage County Fair is bringing back the Power Wheels Derby due to the amazing success in 2017!!  Happening Saturday, July 29th during intermission of the Eve of Destruction.

Rules: The child and one Adult will be allowed in the pits for free and minor paperwork must
be filled out.
1. Any regular electric Power Wheel is allowed. No 4 wheeler type vehicles allowed.
Child’s legs must be in a compartment. Ride in not ride on!
2. Kids 4-9 years of age may participate.
3. Helmets must be worn.
4. The vehicle is allowed to have UP TO a 12 volt lawn mower battery, which cannot be mounted
in the passenger seat and battery must be secured and sealed away from the child.
5. All doors and tailgates must be strapped shut. No sharp edges. Use zip ties or duct tape or
other flexible product for making them stay shut.
6. Motor must remain stock. The only modification you may use and will be allowed is using a
lawn mower battery. You can add decorations like headers, etc. but they cannot reinforce the car.

IMCA Races on a New Night! Sunday, July 30, 2017




We are switching up the lineup in 2017!  Come out for a night of racing featuring heats of the IMCA Modified, IMCA Sport Modified, IMCA Stock, IMCA Hobby Stock and IMCA Sport Compacts on Sunday, July 30th 6pm!  Tickets for Auto Racing are available only at the Grandstand ticket book just prior to event.

Eve of Destruction Saturday, July 29, 2016 7pm

Eve of Destruction is scheduled for Saturday, July 29th, 7pm.  Pit gates will open at 4pm, and grandstand gates will be open at 6pm.

If you want to watch some excitement, demolition and destruction join us for the “Eve of Destruction’s” Roll over contest and Trailer Races!  It will prove to be the highlight of the fair!

If you’re interested in participating in the trailer race, roll over contest, or other racing events, call 402-239-9073.  Official Rule and Regulations coming soon!

Pits will open at 6 pm.  Drivers must be signed in before 7:30.

*Due to Insurance Regulations, “Eve of Destruction” may be limited on seating.

TICKETS (Adults $15) >>Currently, tickets are not available for this event.  At 6pm we will evaluate the seating capacity and determine if sales go back on.

RAIN OUT POLICY: We make every effort to run the Eve of Destruction if possible, but will cancel or postpone due to inclament weather, or if the track conditions are not safe for our drivers.  In the event of a rainout, the Eve of Destruction will be rescheduled.  Trailer races and roll over contest and any other planned activities will be included, just as originally scheduled.  REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL NOT BE GIVEN.
